CAGTR hosts visit from Mongolian delegation
The Centre for Accounting, Governance, and Taxation Research hosted a visit by a high profile delegation from Mongolia to the Victoria Business School last week.
The Centre for Accounting, Governance, and Taxation Research hosted a visit by a high profile delegation from Mongolia to the Victoria Business School last week.
The purpose of the group's visit was to attend a course on Tax Dispute Resolution: "Improving and Strengthening the Legal Framework for Resolution of Tax Disputes".
The Mongolian delegation comprised
- Mr Batbayar Jamiyan, Deputy Commissioner of Taxation for Mongolia
- Mr Tsolmon Tsedev, Director, Integrated Law policy department, Ministry of Justice, member of the Tax Dispute Committee and head of delegation
- Professor Altanzaya Gunsen, Member of the Tax Dispute Committee
- Ms Tugsjargal Sereenendorj, Officer, Legislation division, General Tax Department, Secretary of the Tax Dispute committee
- Dr Enkhbat Amarjargal, National consultant, Multi-sectoral Technical assistance credit project, World Bank, Ministry of Finance
The Centre coordinated the course with representatives from the School, the Inland Revenue Department, The Treasury, PwC, Russell McVeagh and Crown Law participating in presenting the programme.
