Commercial Law
The Commercial Law research group has expertise in diverse areas of commercial law.
Areas of research specialisation include law and policies pertinent to consumers, intellectual property, privacy, employment, business organisations, e-commerce, competition, human rights, personal property and torts. Perspectives include: legal philosophy, law and economics, legal sociology, law and society, and law and psychology.
Members of the Commercial Law research group contribute to national and international academic debate and collaboration in these areas. They also regularly submit comments on, and critique of, Parliamentary Bills, and Government and Law Commission Discussion Papers.
