ELTO Africa officials meet Prime Minister John Key after his address on security issues.

Officials from the third intake of ELTO Africa took advantage of a photo opportunity with Prime Minister John Key after his parliamentary address on 4 November 2014.

Sixteen African officials are participating in an 8-week English language course focusing on good governance and international cooperation at the English Language Institute in the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies.

The participants come from 15 African nations: Algeria, Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Mozambique, Niger, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles and Tunisia. The course is managed by Accent Learning and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as part of New Zealand’s Official Development Assistance to Africa.
