Professor Crawford Falconer

Biography

Crawford Falconer is the Sir Graeme Harrison Professor of Global Value Chains and Trade at Lincoln University. One way or the other he has been working on international trade issues for the last 30 years. This has been inside the New Zealand Government, including as the Government’s leading trade official and as Ambassador to the WTO. It has also been outside, including several years at the OECD and the Institute of Policy Studies. He has been an Independent Chair of a number of international trade negotiating bodies and an independent Judge on large number of international trade disputes.
