Halls of residence

Halls of residence offer a safe and supportive community to help you make the most of your time at Victoria University of Wellington.

Our halls of residence are typically for full-time students who typically stay for the full academic year. They provide a warm and welcoming community to help you make the most of your time at Victoria University of Wellington.

Priority is given to students whose homes are outside the greater Wellington region.

Visit a hall

To visit a hall in person, make an appointment with the hall directly so someone can show you around and answer any questions. If you wish to see more than one hall on the same day, make sure you allow at least 30–40 minutes to cover the tour and the time to travel to the next hall.

Open Day

You can come to our Open Day, held at the end of August every year, for scheduled tours.
