CPA Australia scholarship for accounting student
A Bachelor of Commerce student has been awarded one of two CPA Australia Māori Scholarships for 2017.

Congratulations to Rose Wainhouse, a second year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Accounting, who will have full CPA Australia tuition fees paid for, along with her first year of CPA associate membership.
The CPA Australia Māori Scholarships, awarded each October to the best-qualified applicants based on their academic results, were presented by New Zealand-based representative Rick Jones.
"We are thrilled to award Rose with this scholarship and we are committed to supporting the development of accounting professionals within the Māori community," he said.
Rose, who also had to provide an outline of her career objectives and contribution to the community, thanked CPA Australia for the award.
"I am delighted to receive this and grateful to the CPA for being given this opportunity to further my education, allowing me to give back to the Māori community in the future."
CPA Australia is one of the world's largest accounting bodies, whose employees work with local and international bodies to represent the views and concerns of the profession to governments, regulators, industries, academia and the general public.
