Graduate entry pathway into Law

If you’re ready to start your journey into Law, and you already have a degree, take the graduate entry pathway into Law.

An optimised pathway—how it works

With the graduate entry pathway into Law, you can start your LLB in Trimester 3 and be on your way to acquiring a well-established and highly regarded Law degree.

You will start your study journey with LAWS 111 (30 points), a course designed specifically for graduates with previous experience of university study. Taking this course means you can skip the foundational university steps and complete your first year of Law in a single trimester.

Next step

After completing LAWS 111, you will be eligible to apply for entry into second-year Law for the following year’s intake in February. Your degree could take from two-and-a-half to three years to complete, if you decide to study full time.

You may also be able to transfer up to 110 points from your previous undergraduate degree, allowing you a possible exemption from part of the non-Law requirement of the degree. Speak to your student success adviser for more information.
