  The ARC and the Embassy of Italy held a series of short presentations on 25 February 2016, to celebrate the long history of collaboration between Italy and New Zealand in Antarctica.

  Dr Sabine Baumann is a guest researcher from the Technical University of Munich. She has received DFG funding to update the New Zealand glacier inventory and will be based at the ARC until the end of May.
