Find out what to do during a medical emergency, and the location of Automatic External Defibrillators.

In an emergency

Call 111 and ask for an ambulance.
Call 8888 (0800 842 8888) and advise Campus Security.
Apply first aid if you are confident and it is safe to do so.

Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) locations

Automatic External Defibrillator or AED mounted on a wall

Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) are available on some University campuses for people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest (heart attack). You can also call extension 8888 (0800 842 8888) to have one sent immediately to the patient.
