Fashion studio

Explore the equipment available in the School of Design Innovation's purpose-built fashion studio.

The fashion studio (WG601) is a purpose-built space for the fashion program, supported by a specialist fashion technology technician, with a comprehensive suite of equipment including:

  • Design lab with studio tables, industry-standard computers, and Wacom tablets
  • Digital patternmaking suite, with Clo3d and PAD software, PAD digitiser, and plotters for digitising physical patterns or plotting out digitally designed.
  • Traditional apparel workshop with industrial steam irons, fusing press, and a range of specialist industrial sewing machines including plain sewers, leather sewing, over-lockers, cover-seamers, digital buttonhole, and knitting machine.
  • Also available on campus: 3D body scanning, laser cutters, 3D printers and photography studios.
