School of Architecture studios

The School of Architecture has various discipline-specific studios with a range of CAD/Design workstations and other facilities.

Students in their first year studying Architecture or Design share a large studio on level one of the Wigan Street building. Hours for students are allocated as per the University teaching timetable. After normal hours students can use the studio to do course work, complete projects, and work on assignments.

Second, third, and fourth year studio spaces

Students studying Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Building Science program each have their own discipline-specific studio space for years two to four. These are located throughout the Vivian Street and Wigan Street buildings. They are furnished with CAD/design computers, tutorial tables, large LCD mobiles for tutorials and presentations, modelling tables, lockers, and storage.

Fifth-year Thesis studio spaces

The School of Architecture Thesis students are assigned their own desks, CAD/design computer workstations and storage lockers.
