Profile:

Yu has an academic background in international business and information systems, and she has previously worked in a strategic management role after graduation. This experience developed her research interest in human-AI interaction, as decision-making is closely shaped by how people collect, interpret, and analyse information.

Her current research examines how generative AI refusal and platform transparency influence users’ behaviour, decision-making, and perceptions of human-AI relationships. Through her PhD research, she hope's to contribute to improving human-AI interaction strategies and work processes.
