Whanaunatanga and belonging are explored through a partnership with students and Hutt City council as they work to re-imagine public spaces

Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington furniture design elective students explored whanaungatanga and a sense of belonging, through concepts and ideas relating to above-ground public hāngī and furniture design in Wainuiomata's Queen Street reserve.

This partnership exhibition between Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation and Hutt City libraries sees our students connect with community and space with their work on display in Wainuiomata Library. It explores ideas and prompts discussion around the re-imagining and possible futures of public spaces.
