Profile

Mohammad is a PhD student in Economics at the Wellington School of Business and Government. His research uses overlapping-generations (OLG) macroeconomic models to study social security and population ageing, with a focus on retirement behaviour and policy evaluation (e.g., NZ Superannuation). He holds an MSc in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from Sapienza University of Rome and previously worked for four years as a financial manager in Iran.
