Profile

Chamika is a PhD student in Finance at Wellington School of Business and Government.  She worked at the Bank of Ceylon, Sri Lanka for 5 years and 9 months before deciding to transition herself towards academia, where she was exposed to solving real time problems in the banking sector. This was her foundation towards her interest in the Finance sector and deciding to start the academic journey by pursuing an MSc.

Research Insterest: Quantative Finance, Derivative Pricing, Financial Mathmatics.

BSc (Hons) in Physical Science with second class upper division from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (Core subject: Computer Science and Mathematics)

MSc in Financial Mathematics from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka
