Service Desk operating hours

  • Monday to Thursday 7:30am–8:00pm
  • Friday 7:30am–5.00pm
  • Saturday 8:00am–4.00pm

Digital Solutions operates an afterhours service for urgent, high priority calls. If you have a problem or outage that affects 50 or more people, or is a critical function/essential service, call 04 463 5050 for afterhours service.

Service Desk call recording

Voice and audio-visual calls to the Service Desk may be recorded for monitoring and quality purposes. Recordings are managed in line with our privacy and information management obligations. For more information, see the Call Recording Protocol.

Teaching technology

If you are in a teaching room and you have an urgent issue with the audiovisual equipment, call extension +64 4 463 5475 or 5475.

All other requests are logged through the Staff Service Centre or by emailing the Service Desk.

Personal device support for students

We provide regular laptop clinics for students on the Kelburn and Pipitea campuses.

Kelburn campus

  • 10 am–12 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Level 2, The Hub outside the Library.

Pipitea campus

  • 10 am–12 pm, Tuesday and Thursday
  • Level 3 of Rutherford house, room 330.
