Influenza vaccines are free for students

Influenza (flu) is different from—and more severe—than the common cold. The best protection against the flu is an annual immunisation with the influenza vaccine. Antibiotics do not work for the flu or common colds.

After-hours medical attention

Practice Plus is an online health service providing virtual GP consultations to students at no charge, until 12 November 2022. You can also visit the Wellington After Hours Centre in Newtown.
