The Centre for Accounting, Governance, and Taxation Research ran events, seminars and conferences to generate discussion on relevant issues.

The Centre for Accounting, Governance, and Taxation Research is responsible for bringing researchers together with accounting and legal professionals and representatives of business and the public sector in ongoing discussion and exploration of accounting, governance, and taxation issues that have potential impact on the Asia-Pacific region.

A key avenue of engagement was through seminars and conferences for business and public sector communities, where leading academics and professionals interacted on the issues of current interest.  The largest event organised was the 2018 Tax Working Group 2018 symposium. The Centre ran Business Links Seminars and Webinars for the business and public sector communities, where leading academics and professionals presented on current issues.
