Join AWIS2026, the Association for Women in the Sciences' national conference celebrating 40 years of supporting women in STEM. Hosted in Wellington by the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, and Earth Sciences New Zealand, this two-day event will connect researchers, students, and professionals through keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, networking opportunities, and science showcases. AWIS2026 is part of a nationwide hybrid conference designed to strengthen connections, support career development, and advance women in science across Aotearoa New Zealand.
