Deane Orchestral Studies Scholarship
History and purpose
The Deane Endowment Trust dedicates generous support to music and education, including regular contributions to activities of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) and Te Kōkī—New Zealand School of Music (NZSM). The Deane Orchestral Studies Scholarship, promoting links between the NZSO and the NZSM through a specific Masters programme, builds on this legacy and the already strong relations between our two organisations.
