Studio hire

The world-class film studios, editing suites, and recording facilities at the Miramar Creative Centre are all available to hire.

We have two production studios fitted out with truss lighting, acoustic treatment, and great roller door access. We also have edit suites and a recording studio suitable for ADR, voice overs, Foley or music recording.  Ask about our podcast special.

A technical officer is on site for reference and assistance during regular working hours. Outside working hours, technical officers can be arranged to assist at extra cost.

Studio 102

Film studio with acoustic treatment and lighting grid. Vehicle access through roller door. Comes with Fresnel light and light panels in the grid.

Studio 104

Ready-to-use 30 camera mocap volume, or use as a full 8M x 8M chroma key studio with truss lighting grid.

Workshop, common room, and meeting room A

Workshop

A workshop space for set or prop construction purposes or simply an extra space to house crew that can be hired alongside either studio.

Common room

A common room with couches and raised working benches. Configurable for hosting events. Provides a good breakaway space from studio 104.

Meeting room A

With large screen and video conference facilities.

Edit suites 1 and 2 and recording / Foley room

Edit suite 1

A full acoustically treated editing suite with facilities and software to edit with an iMac Pro running Adobe Suite, AVID, and Protools. Suite is set up for surround mixing and colour grading in Resolve.

Recording/Foley room

A full acoustically treated editing suite with facilities and software to edit with an iMac Pro running Adobe Suite, AVID, and Protools. Suite is set up for surround mixing and colour grading in Resolve. It also features a Foley/Recording Room with facilities for ADR, Foley, and small ensemble recording.

Edit suite 2 (upstairs)

An edit and colour-grading suite with facilities and editing software with an iMac Pro running Adobe Suite, AVID, and Protools.
