Profile
Verena is pursuing a PhD that examines the relationship between gender inclusion in organizations and ethical leadership approaches, and how these factors influence the careers of women. Her interest in diversity and gender issues has been a guiding force throughout her academic journey. She conducted her first Master's thesis on women’s workforce participation in emerging markets and specialized in Diversity and Integration Management for her second Master’s. She also volunteered for a women’s organization in Guatemala, where she gained invaluable insights into gender-related challenges. Her professional experience as a university project coordinator and visiting lecturer sparked her passion for academia, leading her to further explore and contribute to pressing topics that extend beyond emerging and developing countries, impacting a global context.
