The International Coral Reef Symposium (ICRS 2026) is a global scientific conference bringing together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to address the urgent challenges facing coral reefs. Held in Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, the symposium focuses on all aspect of coral reef science, from molecular biology through to the impacts of climate change and human activity, such as ocean warming, acidification, and coastal pressures. A priority is to showcase research, traditional knowledge, and practical solutions to support reef conservation and management, both through the South Pacific and worldwide.
