Wan Solwara—in the Library
On Level 2 of the Rankine Brown building (Kelburn campus library), you will find Wan Solwara, which hosts the Va'aomanū Pasifika library collection of books. Meaning “one ocean” in Papua New Guinean Pidgin, Wan Solwara is a vibrant space which reflects the diversity of the Pacific. It’s a space where you can study, talanoa with our Pasifika librarians, and be part of the events that are frequently held there, such as Pacific language weeks.
