Evaluating a course

Evaluation of student success, teaching practice and student experience to continually improve courses using data, feedback and review.

Evaluating the course

You can use a variety of information to help you (and your teaching colleagues if there are several teachers on the course) evaluate the course.

The work that students submit for assessment, feedback from tutors, student feedback (informal and formal) and your own reflection can all help you consider how successful the course was and in what ways you might want to change it in the future.

The Centre for Academic Development will help staff to interpret their student feedback results. The team provides support and one-on-one consultation opportunities for this.
