Angela Woodward
Angela Woodward is Deputy Executive Director at the Verification Research, Training and Information Centre (VERTIC), an independent, non-profit research centre which supports the development, implementation and verification of international agreements. Her research interests include arms control and disarmament law, treaty verification systems and technologies, and international security. She has conducted training on weapons treaties and United Nations sanctions at workshops around the world, and taught political science and international law at universities in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She participates in CSCAP study groups and currently serves on the New Zealand Public Advisory Committee on Disarmament and Arms Control, and the International Advisory Board of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Network.
