“The School of Management taught me to challenge the status quo. The principles I learnt still shape how I advise organisations around the world.”

After graduating from the School of Management, Todd joined PwC as a Consultant. He spent five years in the Wellington practice working on some of Aotearoa’s most complex and challenging issues – including organisation culture challenges in the justice system and the management of New Zealand’s water infrastructure.

Todd left PwC in 2021 after co-founding Hitch, a business focused on collecting, analysing, and reporting employee commuting data for carbon foot printing purposes. Hitch is still in operation today and works with some of New Zealand’s most high profile brands, including Sharesies and the Co-operative Bank.

Todd relocated to London in 2023 and joined Q5, recognised by Forbes as one of the world’s best management consulting firms. At Q5, Todd is a senior leader in the People Analytics practice, where he advises clients on organisational design, culture, workforce strategy, and operations using quantitative analysis and data modelling. Since joining Q5, he has worked with world leading organisations across retail, infrastructure, and professional services sectors.

Todd is a proud alumnus of the management school. In his time here he particularly valued his learning in systems thinking, ethics and organisational culture and behaviour. He also valued the ethos taught across many subjects to challenge traditional thinking, frameworks, and the status quo.
