Our staff have studied, researched and taught all over the world. You'll find them highly qualified and passionate, with fascinating research interests—from world literature in French to the life writing of Holocaust survivors, Cuban and Swiss poetry, and translation.

Our Language Study Abroad programme lets you take intensive language courses in French, German, Italian or Spanish at overseas universities during our summer, and gain credit towards your BA.
