Sadia Afroze is an Assistant Librarian at the Dhaka University Library in Bangladesh. She earned both her BA and MA in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining the Dhaka University Library, she worked as a Junior Assistant Librarian at the Ayesha Abed Library, BRAC University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She also worked as a part-time faculty member at the Department of Information Science and Library Management at Asian University of Bangladesh and Institute of Library and Information Science (ILIS), Dhaka under National University, Bangladesh. Her experience in teaching in two different institutions and working in libraries as a library professional has ignited her passion to pursue a Ph.D. in Information Management.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Research Interests

Sadia is passionate about the application of AI in academic libraries and management of information, digital literacy and information literacy.
