Project description

Are you passionate about AI, machine learning, or optimisation—and want to apply your skills to real-world, impactful challenges? Join our project developing intelligent, real-time dispatch algorithms for electric vehicles, with possible applications including delivery services, courier logistics, and transportation.

You will design and implement machine learning algorithms and work with real-world-inspired scenarios, and gain experience in combining AI with optimisation.

You will be working with an excellent team (A/Prof. Yi Mei, Dr. Fangfang Zhang, Prof. Mengjie Zhang) from the Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Prof. Guenther Raidl from TU Wien, Austria, and Honda Research Institute in Germany --- with expertise in both fundamental AI research and applied knowledge in the electric vehicles.

This project is for a single student.
