The School of Psychology encourages students to apply for the:

  • Victoria Graduate Awards
  • Victoria PhD Scholarships

The School also offers two graduate level prizes to recognise and encourage students' pursuit of academic success in psychology. Students cannot hold a School prize and a Victoria Graduate Award at the same time. Prizes are subject to budgetary constraints.

The School of Psychology graduate prize

The School of Psychology Graduate Prize is a partial fee waiver awarded to students enrolled in a full time Honours degree in Psychology or Part 1 of the MSc Cross Cultural Psychology programme and or Part 1 of the MSc Cognitive Behavioural Neuroscience Programme and Part 1 of the MSc in Forensic Psychology.

Prize recipients will be selected based on the best four 300 level psychology courses completed in an undergraduate qualification. Where there is a tie, academic transcripts will be reviewed.

To remain eligible, prize recipients must be enrolled as a full time university student in an Honours programme or Part 1 MSc, for the entire academic year. There is no application form to be completed. Up to five prizes will be conferred. Prize waivers cannot be deferred and will be reimbursed at the end of the academic year. The prize is subject to financial constraints.
