Debashish Munshi is professor of management communication at the University of Waikato.

Debashish Munshi is professor of management communication at the University of Waikato.

His research, informed by critical theory and postcolonial theory, focuses on the intersections among issues of communication, diversity, ethics, sustainability, and science and technology. He has co-authored or edited three landmark books, has written numerous articles in top international journals, and is co-principal investigator of a Marsden Fund research grant of the Royal Society of New Zealand for a project on “Sustainable Citizenship”.

Before moving to academia, Debashish was a senior journalist in India.
