Asad Mohsin is currently associate professor and chairperson - Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at the Waikato Management School.

He has accumulated several years of industry and academic experience working in different countries in the Middle East and Asia Pacific region including Australia. His academic qualifications include: PhD, MBA, Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from Australia and Diploma (3 years) in Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, from Pusa Institute, New Delhi and BSc from Delhi University. Asad is a Fellow of two renowned institutes namely: Australian Institute of Management and NZ Institute of Management. His main research interests and publications are in the area of Tourism and Hospitality, customer perceptions and contemporary trends, and Tourism and Hospitality product and service quality assessment.
