Dr Geeta Rani Duppati is a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance, University of Waikato.

Geeta Rani Duppati is a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance, University of Waikato. Dr Duppati maintains her links with India as visiting faculty to the Institute of Public Enterprise, in Hyderabad.

In her recent visits to India in June and August, 2013, she gave three presentations jointly organised by International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi and Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India at Bangalore; and IMI and Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India at New Delhi and Institute of Public Enterprise and ICSSR at Hyderabad.

Her current research studies involve an international component, and compares India and New Zealand corporate and business policies and practices. Her research topics are primarily concerned with challenges of corporate governance in government-owned enterprises and private-listed companies, sustainable business practices, and corporate social responsibility.
