Dr Arun Elias

Dr Arun is the associate dean, International and Accreditation at Victoria University of Wellington.

Arun Elias is a senior lecturer in Management at Victoria University of Wellington.

His current research projects and publications include comparative studies between India and New Zealand on business problems like IT offshore outsourcing. His main research interests include stakeholder management, systems thinking and modelling, and environmental conflict management.

After completing his term as the director of Victoria University of Wellington MBA in 2010, he spent one year in India on sabbatical leave where he was associated with some of the Indian business schools like the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.

Academically, Arun holds two Master degrees—one in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and the other in Agricultural Engineering from Allahabad University. Arun is originally from the South Indian state of Kerala.
