Our vision

The National Music Centre will bring together New Zealand School of Music—Te Kōkī students and New Zealand Symphony Orchestra musicians, and will enable some of the best music education and performance experiences in the world.

Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra are seeking support to realise this vision with a fundraising campaign led by former Wellington Mayor Dame Kerry Prendergast.
