2026 Upcoming Conferences
NetSciX 2026 - Network Science to Understand the Weaving of the World
The NetSciX International School and Conference for The Network Science Society is the companion conference to the annual flagship NetSci conference. Hosted by Te Pūnaha Matatini, the Center of Research Excellence for Complex Systems, it will be held from 17-20 February 2026 in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. This is the first time the conference will be held in Oceania.
This conference will highlight the diversity of disciplines, cultures, and social frameworks that contribute to the advancement of network science. Visit the conference website to learn more about presenters, how to register, and how to become a sponsor.
Capital City Complex Systems Symposium - Understanding Complex Systems: Theory, Practice & Impact
Following shortly after NetSciX 2026, Te Pūnaha Matatini will also host the Capital City Complex Systems Symposium from 24-25 February 2026 in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington at the Tiakiwai Conference Centre, National Library of New Zealand.
The symposium will explore cutting-edge knowledge of complex systems and complexity, and how this knowledge is being used to better understand systems and drive system change.
