Profile

Talofa Lava I have a background in teaching and learning specialising in English and Theatre.  I recently moved back from Alice Springs, Australia where I was teaching numeracy and literacy to Indigenous students from rural communities. Before that I was working at Massey University as a writing consultant/Pasifika learning advisor. Here at Student learning I enjoy working with students and assisting with breaking down barriers and expectations of Academic language. On the side I like to write spoken word poetry and enjoy downtime with my son and family.
