Shin Takahashi

Shin Takahashi is an Honorary Research Associate at Victoria University's School of Languages and Cultures and he is currently a Lecturer of Japanese Studies at Monash University. He is a historian of modern Japan (post-1868) and Japan-Asia relations, and the author and editor of numerous books and research articles, such as The Translocal Island of Okinawa: Anti-Base Activism and Grassroots Regionalism (Bloomsbury, 2024). Takahashi is Associate Editor of the Journal of the Society for Asian Humanities (JOSAH).
