Perfect fit

“I’ve always been passionate about human health so this programme was perfect for me. The year is jam packed with opportunities to network, develop skills and build knowledge. I knew from the way the Master’s was designed that it would allow me to step into a career as a researcher.”

Passionate teachers

“The lecturers throughout the course are the top in their field and full of passion. All the classes were interesting and covered current, topical research.”

Great opportunities

“I completed a 3-month practicum at the Medical Research Institute of New Zealand, this was followed by a summer internship. This gave me the opportunity to work with some to the top clinical researchers here in Wellington.

“During my last week of the Master’s, I was fortunate enough to be offered a position at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research. I am now a research officer in the Parasite and Allergy team, working alongside some of my former lecturers.”
