More products and services, including accommodation fees, will be added over the coming months.

Can I access Payment Portal from a mobile device?

You can access the Payment Portal from any device and browser. You will need internet connectivity or must be connected to the University’s network to access the portal.

How do I log in to the Payment Portal?

Which credit cards can I use to make payments?

Victoria University of Wellington accepts payment by Visa and MasterCard.

For students, you can also use Western Union Business Solutions—Global Pay for Students to make payment using a variety of payment methods, including UnionPay and International Bank transfer.

From 22 November 2020, payments made to the University by credit card and debit card will incur a convenience fee of 1.9%.

This fee is applied to recover those charges that we incur for processing credit and debit card transactions. For all transactions, an alternative payment method will be available. The convenience fee will be applied to transactions for goods and services, including domestic and international tuition fees. Payments made to Mauri Ora (Student Health) will be exempt from the convenience fee, as will payments for donations to the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation, administered by the Development Office.

Your bank is blocking the transaction

You may need to contact your bank or card issuer and explain that you are trying to make a purchase and request they remove the block.
