International Symposium on Looking at India from the South Pacific

The NZIRI held a one-day international symposium on “Looking at India from the South Pacific” at the Pipitea campus of Victoria University of Wellington.

Six international experts were invited to speak on three themes.

Dr Rajat Kathuria and Associate Professor Rani D. Mullen spoke on Economy, Trade and Diplomacy’, with Dr Rahul Sen as the commentator. Professor Rajesh Basrur and Professor Rajesh Rajagopalan spoke on Security and Defence, with Dr Manjeet Pardesi as the commentator. Professor Anthony D’Costa and Dr Ronojoy Sen spoke on ‘Governance and Social Development’, with Dr Jagadish Thaker as the commentator.
