Te Wiki o te Hauora Hinengaro—Mental Health Awareness Week 2026
Description
Join us for a range of free community events and activities across Kelburn, Pipitea, and Te Aro campuses during Te Wiki o te Hauora Hinengaro—Mental Health Awareness Week.
Belonging matters
Feeling connected to others is an important part of wellbeing. When we feel like we belong, we're more likely to feel supported, valued, and able to navigate life's challenges.
Belonging grows through the relationships and communities around us. When we take time to connect, support one another, and create an inclusive community, we help foster an environment where everyone can thrive.
Get involved
Manawa Ora—Student Wellbeing and other university teams will be hosting a variety of events and activities from 12–16 October to encourage connection, wellbeing, and community.
Belonging starts with the community around us, so we encourage you to host a connection opportunity (e.g. morning tea) with your team to recognise Mental Health Awareness Week and create space for whakawhanaungatanga.
