Panel Discussion: Jesus and politics
Join us for a panel discussion to explore religion's place in the world of politics.
Description
In 2020 Christopher Luxon famously said about his Christian faith: “It’s got nothing to do with my politics.” But for many politically engaged Christians, the line isn’t nearly so clean—convictions about justice, community, and the common good are shaped by their deepest beliefs, whether spoken or unspoken.
This panel brings together Christians active in politics—across different parties, roles, and points on the spectrum—for an open conversation about where faith and political life meet. What should that relationship look like? What difference does Jesus make to politics? Can genuine faith survive contact with politics? What might it all mean for how we vote this November?
