We maintain enduring partnerships with many sponsoring agencies around the world and now host sponsored students from over 50 countries.
Sponsored students who have access to Victoria University of Wellington’s top-ranking education will help build capacity back home and make a positive contribution to their local industries and communities.
In turn, international sponsored students bring greater diversity to our university and provide new ideas and a different global perspective.
The International Office at VUW can provide extra support to students who come to us through sponsoring agencies. This can include close pastoral care, academic preparation, leadership initiatives, and providing authentic New Zealand experiences.
