Profile

Menaka is a legal practitioner of Sri Lanka, with experience in the fields of company law, intellectual property and notarial practice.  She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and a Master of Laws from the University of West London.  She is also an Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public of Sri Lanka.  Menaka has many years of experience working in leading blue chip conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Menaka's research focuses on implementing board gender diversity in Sri Lanka, where policymakers are currently incorporating international concepts to advance corporate governance practices in the country, and reviewing measures to promote gender equality.
