The Recognition of Authorship Policy has been repealed and replaced with best-practice guidance on recognising authorship.

It covers the importance of recognising authorship, information about staff co-authoring with students and managing authorship disputes and what to avoid. There is specific advice on documenting decisions around authorship, which can help you use our authorship memorandum of understanding template.

This guidance is available to staff and students with access to the intranet.  Students who don't have access to the intranet can read the guide to authorship for students and talk to their supervisor and the Faculty of Graduate Research for more information.
