Information about upcoming or current system outages.

HR Kiosk/Ascender outage—2 April 2026

There is a planned outage to HR Kiosk/Ascender for routine maintenance. During this time, the service will be unavailable.

It will begin at 5 pm on Thursday 2 April and end at 9 am on Friday 3 April.

Student management system upgrade—10 to 12 April 2026

An annual upgrade to Banner, our student management system, will occur from 5 pm on Friday 10 April through Sunday 12 April. The following systems will not receive updates from Banner during this time, but will otherwise be fully functional:

  • Kurawai
  • Nuku
  • DegreeWorks (MyDegree)
  • University Payment Portal
  • Panoho
  • Senzing
  • Gallagher
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

The upgrade is for routine maintenance. Banner will operate as normal from Monday 13 April.
