2 pm, 23 October
We are planning to return to normal operations across all campuses tomorrow, Friday 24 October.
As always, our top priority is the safety of our staff and students. Based on the latest forecast, we expect the worst of the weather to have passed, with the red warning due to expire at 7 pm this evening.
Students will receive separate communications this afternoon from the University by Nuku, and on our social media channels.
All scheduled exams, teaching, learning, and research activities are expected to resume in person as planned.
Students can contact the exam office or their course co-ordinator if they are concerned about making it to their exam location tomorrow.
Staff
Staff who rely on public transport and are concerned about making it in tomorrow, or have had weather impacts at home, should talk to their manager or Head of School.
For further advice on bad weather, visit WREMO.
If there is any change to our reopening plans, we will be in touch.
