The University was pleased to welcome Jun Tang, Counsellor for Education, Science & Technology and Cultural Affairs, and Ding Wan, Second Secretary for Education, from the Chinese Embassy.
Ms Tang and Mr Wan met with Dr Logan Bannister (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students), Amy Rutherford, (Director of International), and members of the international team.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the University and our existing Chinese partners and reaffirm the University’s commitment to supporting the success of our Chinese students.
During the discussions, the group explored possible opportunities for connections and collaboration, particularly in key areas of shared interest. They also shared insights on how to better support the wellbeing and academic success of Chinese students at the University, ensuring they feel connected and supported throughout their studies.
